alligator pics

I'm not sure I ever shared the pictures from when Codie actually received the Alligator blanket.  He loved the minky fabric so much he wouldn't take his face from it long enough for Jessica to take a picture.  ;). This was for his alligator themed 1st birthday party.

Message Project

Preseason's over and it's time for Brandon's team to buckle down and take charge in Conference play. Here's their notes of inspiration. Blue gumballs to CHEW up & spit out, & a mint for a FRESH start! I know, I'm clever.

Bedside Book Pockets

I made these Bedside Book Pockets for our niece Emma Grace & neighbor Camden. They can keep their favorite bedtime stories nearby. I've been meaning to make one of these and finally did.

Mini snakeskin bag to match

I made a matching mini bag for the neighbor (whose husband gave me the headliner fabric)

Check out my snakeskin bag!

> Our neighbor works with manufacturing and for whatever reason, perfectly good headliner fabric wasn't up to par for their client, so he brought me home a role of headliner fabric. Turns out a common use for headliner fabric is interfacing a bag/purse so that it stands up on its own. This was my first project using the headliner fabric and I have a whole roll to go!

Thank You Fall Gift

Made this for a client who offered her time to rape a testimonial and renewed their campaign. I stuffed the pumpkin and paired it with a candies pear candle... Mmmm Fall.

(Turns out these hot it right on the head- her favorite candle flavor are pear & fig and her house is blue to match the fabric choice!)

Baby Duke's gift

This is the Bear Rag Quilt I made for Rory's baby shower (she eventually had baby Duke in August!)

This was for a gender neutral "Nature/Forest" themed nursery.

This picture is pre-cuts. It's been cut & washed to kick start the rag quilt texture!

Girls' Weekend!

Had these made special for our girls weekend when Mom, Karen, & Kathy came to SC for a Carolina Girls Weekend!

More pictures of the Alligator Blanket

I think 1st birthdays are special! I made this alligator snuggle blanket for Jessica's sin Cody when he turned 1 this year. They had an alligator themed party. It was a fun project to make! I have pictures of him with it too; I'll try to add those. He loved the minky fabric so much he just snuggled his cheek right against it. Too cute!

Yard sale flip

I didn't plan on buying these table and chairs, but I bundled them for a good deal with my other purchase. They say that's the way you buy at a yard sale or flea market-bundle and you get things a whole lot cheaper!

Anyhow! I transformed a white table and chairs into this trendy olive color to coordinate with our backyard colors.

Wood Project

Thought this spare block of wood could be useful! Had Dad help me drill holes deep enough to hold pens & painted. It's a cute and functional desk decoration!
