Lady Bug!

Our friend has a brand new niece, Quinn. When I asked if there was a nursery theme or anything that could inspire me, our friend said that Quinn was referred to as a Lady Bug throughout the entire pregnancy because she looked like a Lady Bug in the ultrasound. The baby shower had a lady bug theme and the nursery has animals. I think this lady bug rag quilt and tie blanket will go nicely!

There is a pattern for the lady bug, but I thought it was too simple so I drew it up myself. We had two yards of red and black flannel. I drew out a radius using the flexible tape measure and sidewalk chalk. The radius is 20" and 45* wedges. What a cute theme!

A pair of pants for Connor

Now that I've mapped out his size, I'm going to make Connor a few pairs of pants.

Connor's Saints Rally Towel

Made this Rally towel from a logo off an old shirt. Connor likes to wave his arms at the games so we figured he could use a rally towel!

I appliquéd it on and added a fun decorative stitch.
