Stayed up late to finish this practice pattern

A little after midnight... A few seam ripped legs until I realized where I went wrong... A fun practice piece I used with fabric I had from FIDM's store in LA. It was fairly cheap and it actually turned out OK. The pattern is all going the same direction so that's good!

This fabric had more spandex to it.. The fabric I may try it out on is softer with 95% rayon knit. We'll see!

Almost done with my mini quilt project. I bought a small kit during shop hop two years ago. The kit was a few strips of coordinating fabric from Quilting Sew Easy in Gaffney. Finally used my time to get it going (the same day I made my knit dress).

I'll be sure to post the finished product. Need to appliqué stitch and bind. Not sure if it will be a gift or end up on our wall. Just glad I'm making it.

A knit dress for me

Finally had an afternoon to sew and to sew for me. Used some knit fabric I've been holding onto for awhile. Made it with a McCall's pattern.
